Dutch director David Verbeek has chosen to shoot in Taiwan many times. The two key scenes of the film, the helipad and the party where the main characters turned into vampires, were shot on the rooftop of New Taipei City Government Building and Jingtong Coal Mine Memorial Park in Pingxi, respectively. In addition, the woods that the main characters passed by on the way to the party are in Baiji Mountain in Sanxia.
