“MONEYBOYS” is co-produced by Taiwanese production company Flash Forward Entertainment, Austria, France, and Belgium. Directed by Chinese-Austrian C. B. Yi, it will represent Taiwan to compete in the Un Certain Regard section of the festival.
The movie was shot entirely in Taiwan. With locations spanning Taipei, Keelung, Taoyuan, and Tainan, it also features some of Taiwan's youngest and brightest actors, including Kai Ko and JC Lin, and an ensemble cast of talented Taiwanese supporting actors.
Through the eyes of French cinematographer Jean-Louis Vialard, we can see the sights and scenes of New Taipei city including the Metropolitan Park, paths beside Banqiao Butterfly Park, and Levee trails along the riverbanks of Xinzhuang. . Besides your usual mountains and oceans, Levee paths located in the urban areas are also popular shooting spots that we’d recommend.
