Introduction
The Tamsui Customs Wharf stands as the sole surviving wharf from the Qing Dynasty era. Having been successively occupied by the Qing Dynasty, the British, and the Japanese, it exudes a rich exotic ambiance. The interplay of the glistening waters of the Tamsui River, the iconic red warehouses, and the Western-style buildings has turned this location into not only a beloved historic landmark in New Taipei City, but also a popular filming destination.
