The Hobe Fort, built in 1886, served as a military stronghold protecting Tamsui Port and an important maritime defense facility of Taiwan during the Qing Dynasty. Today, its commanding high location and the unique ambiance resembling a time tunnel have attracted many wedding photographers and film crews for location shoots.
