Dong-Ao Fishing Harbor, located in Wanli District, New Taipei City, is within a small winding waterside at the eastern base of the Yeliu Cape, just a few hundred meters from Yehliu Fishing Port. Since its construction, it has undergone multiple expansions and renovations. It serves fishing functions and complements the surrounding tourist attractions.
The port primarily hosts fishing boats engaged in coastal operations, with catches including skipjack tuna, neritic squid, and crab. Most boats follow a late departure and early return schedule, while some venture farther out to the Pengjia Islet waters. The port area features docks, breakwaters, and improved road facilities, providing stable working and mooring conditions.
Dong-Ao Fishing Harbor is located along the Northern Coastal Highway, offering convenient access and transportation. On holidays, it attracts tourists to enjoy the scenery or savor fresh seafood, with the "Wanli Crab" being the most renowned. The unique rock shores and headland landscapes are ideal for filming daily life in the fishing port, harbor culture, and seaside strolls.
