The New Taipei City Art Museum is located at the confluence of the Yingge and Dahan Rivers. Born of the water, it creates a serene yet expansive environment shaped by natural river scenery and contemporary art. The silver-white facade reflects flowing light and shadow under the sun, paired with a reed-inspired tubular structure that presents a highly rhythmic and layered visual effect. The museum complex includes the Main Building, Creative Cluster, Creative Site, the outdoor park, and the “Heart of Sanying.” Its fully open circulation connects nature and the city, establishing it as New Taipei City's contemporary aesthetic landmark.
The representative installation 《Pottery》, created by artist Lin Shun-Long, stands 15 meters high and symbolizes the origins of ceramic culture. Walking inside, a spiral staircase leads to a height overlooking Yingge and Sanxia, offering a unique shooting location that merges art and landscape.
The New Taipei City Art Museum is ideal for filming art movies, indie-style drama series, fashion commercials, as well as architectural and urban imagery documentaries. Soft, natural light penetrating the transparent architecture can create silent, poetic, fresh, beautiful, or modern minimalist scenes, making it an ideal location that combines the imagery of nature and the city.
