The Xinxian Trail and Xinxian Suspension Bridge are located in Xinxian Village, Wulai District, New Taipei City. The trail extends along a tributary of the Nanshi River, with a total length of about 1.5 kilometers. It is gentle and secluded, making it a popular spot for getting close to nature and casual hiking. Along the way, visitors can admire numerous waterfall clusters, with the “Dragon Waterfall” being the most iconic. Its majestic flow and extraordinary grandeur intertwine with the shaded forest trails to create a unique mountain landscape. The Xinxian Suspension Bridge at the east entrance spans the valley, with the bridge deck about 30 meters long. Standing at the bridge's edge offers sweeping views of the rushing stream and the verdant valley below.
This location boasts natural scenery and tranquil ambiance, making it ideal for filming nature documentaries or outdoor adventure programs. The view overlooking the river valley from the suspension bridge, the misty water near the waterfall, and the dappled light and shadow of the forest on the trail all provide visually rich content.
