Dong-Ao Fishing Harbor, located in Wanli District, New Taipei City, is in a small bay at the eastern foot of the Yehliu Cape, just a few hundred meters from Yehliu Fishing Harbor. Since its initial construction, it has undergone several expansions and renovations, possessing fishing capabilities and complementing the surrounding tourist areas.
The port primarily houses fishing boats operating along the coast, catching fish including skipjack tuna, neritic squid, and crabs. Most boats operate on a late-departure, early-return schedule, with some venturing as far as the waters off Pengjia Island. The port area features piers, breakwaters, and improved road facilities, providing stable operating and berthing conditions.
Dong-Ao Fishing Harbor is conveniently next to the Northern Coastal Highway, attracting tourists on weekends to enjoy the scenery and taste fresh seafood, among which the "Wanli Crab" is the most famous. The rocky shore and headland scenery are unique, making it suitable for shooting scenes such as daily life in the fishing port, harbor culture, and strolls along the shore.
